Located in Penha, Santa Catarina, Beto Carrero World is the largest theme park in Latin America, and a terrific spot for families and thrill-seekers alike.

What is Beto Carrero World?

Beto Carrero World is a theme park developed by the Brazillian businessman and entertainer of the same name. The park originally opened in 1991, though since 2012, it has operated in partnership with DreamWorks Animation and Universal Pictures.

The park has plenty to do and see, including live shows, a zoo, restaurants, stores, a pirate island and much more!

Thrill seekers will be eager to try out the FireWhip, an inverted rollercoaster which will bring you flying over lakes and waterfalls at nearly 100 km/h (62 mph). For little ones, the Madagascar Crazy River Adventure is always popular, bringing you on an adventure with Alex down the rapids! There is so much to choose from, there really is something for everyone!
